   Carbomer 940 Product Description: Chemical name: cross linked polyacrylic acid resin The product is an acrylic polymer crosslinked with polyenyl ether. It has strong hygroscopicity and acidity (containing carboxyl group). It can be neutralized by basic substances, forming high transparent gel, and high viscosity and tackifier effect. At low dosage, kappa resin can not be affected by temperature to produce high-efficiency thickening effect, and can make some insoluble additives (particles, oil droplets, etc.) to achieve permanent suspension.

Neutralization thickening Carbomer is usually neutralized into salt, which makes the curly molecules thickened due to the opening of electric repulsion force. Sodium hydroxide and triethanolamine are commonly used neutralizers, which is the reason why carbomer is sensitive to ions. 2. Hydrogen bond thickening Carbomer molecules, as carboxyl group donors, can combine with one or more hydroxyl groups to form hydrogen bonds, which takes time. The common hydroxyl donors are nonionic surfactants, polyols, etc.

Carbopol 941: Recommended dosage: 0.1-1.5% Long rheology, low viscosity, high-definition clarity, medium ion resistance and shear resistance, suitable for gel and emulsion skin care lotions, creams, transparent skin care gels, hair styling gels (suitable for medium plasma formulations) . Carbopol 934: Recommended dosage: 0.2-1.0% Cross-linked polyacrylic resin, local application system, stable at high viscosity, used in thick gels, emulsions, and suspensions. Skin care lotions, creams, opaque gel products, shampoos, shower gels. Carbopol 971 (Carbopol 971) recommended dosage: 0.2-1.0% Electrolyte-containing skin care lotions, creams, ethanol-containing transparent gel products, transparent skin care gels, hair styling gels, shampoos, shower gels. Carbopol 974 (Carbopol 974) recommended dosage: 0.2-1.0% Oral products include gel, anti-allergic, whitening toothpaste and denture viscose, transparent skin care lotion, cream, transparent skin care lotion, cream, gel, transparent antiseptic gel containing ethanol. Carbopol ETD 2020: Recommended dosage: 0.2-1.5% Acrylate/C10-30 alkyl acrylate cross-linked copolymer, long rheology, low viscosity, high clarity, high ion resistance and shear resistance, suitable for clear gel. Mainly used in skin care lotions, creams, transparent skin care gels, hair styling gels, shampoos and shower gels. Carbopol Ultrez 21: Acrylate/C10-30 alkyl acrylate cross-linked copolymer, short rheology, used in gels, washing cleaning products, high electrolyte products, creams, lotions. Carbopol Ultrez 20: Acrylate/C10-30 alkyl acrylate cross-linked copolymer, long rheology, shampoo, shower gel, cream/lotion, skin care and hair care gel containing electrolytes. Carbopol AQUA SF-1: Liquid, long rheology, clear formula can be formulated, excellent compatibility with various ingredients, acid-returning and thickening, can be used in surfactant systems. Pemulen TR-1: Acrylate/C10-30 alkyl acrylate cross-linked copolymer, thickening emulsifier, short rheology, used in creams and lotions. Pemulen TR-2: acrylate/C10-30 alkyl acrylate cross-linked copolymer, thickening emulsifier, long rheology, used in emulsion.
